Why do you want to hack? What's the POINT? Do you like getting yourself in trouble? Just learn to do things the right way and you'll have more fun. And less tossed salad.

Why do you want to hack? What's the POINT? Do you like getting yourself in trouble? Just learn to do things the right way and you'll have more fun. And less tossed salad.

It's valuable knowledge if you are interested in security. Hence my original advice to not hack into other people's boxes.

And as far as the hacking thing, i just had a convo with a few co-workers and was saying i dont know that much about hacking and stuff, and figured, someone wouldnt mind givin me info on here. Ive used you all for tech support a few times, so thought "whynot?" But i see i was wrong, has nothing to do with leaving the AOL community and seeing a movie and thinking I am cool(even tho they were pretty funny reasons)

Once you've done that, you can start acting like a girl (cuz Bubba's gonna treat you like one).

C'mon. Seriously. You wanna hack? Go study about networks and servers and programming. Once you're an expert in all those fields, you can become more than a script kiddie.

But, then again, if you become expert in those fields, you will probably lose any desire to "hack".

PS: I'm a hardware hacker, and love every minute of it! 😀
 
If you really want to learn the finer points, you should have posted HERE instead. It's still on these forums, but they should be able to help you out better than we can.
