To go to French class, or not to go to French class...

It's 11:18 and class is at 11:30. It'd take me about 1 minute to walk to class from here. I'm really considering not showing up today. Give me a good reason to go? It's horribly boring, I don't learn anything, and it's my last class today that ends at 12:30. It's an hour long... God, it feels like 3 hours, like the course I just had, which isn't nearly as boring, even though it's about nothing! We talked about Freedom & Responsibility for three hours, and it's still less boring than French class will be!

So ... to go or not to go. There isn't really anything better to do, but even this is more fun than going to french.

I don't know of any place here where I can play pool. Besides, I suck really bad at it. If I don't go I'll probably end up hanging around the comp lab for a while, maybe working on something useful maybe not... drop off my CV at the student employment center, walk around the school a couple times and come back, unless I run into ppl to hang out with.. lol

GO. It WILL become a habit if you don't. I started it in HS and it was tough to stop. College was even worse since they don't usually take attendance. JUST GO! An hour isn't so bad.

Trust me, I know too. Last year I skipped so much... I know not to get into the habit of it, cause at college if you miss more than one class you start to REALLY get behind. But one class, of french, I dunno man. Not much goes on in that class. It's all in the workbook we have, I could work ahead in that. The only thing I could miss out on is an oral presentation, which I know we're not doing today. But... I don't know, I guess it's just worry of making it a habit. I don't want that to happen.

I know I won't learn much if I do go. I know I won't get any sleep if I go. I don't sit beside anyone fun/cool/pretty in that class, which makes it all the more boring. The teacher is boring. If it was an important class, I wouldn't consider not going, like math or most of my other classes... but this one is really.. ah...

Ain't that the truth. I determined that in college there was not just a correlational, but a big time causal relationship between going to class and grades. By the end I realized that even classes I hate and paid no attention in were worth going to because I would eithe soak up something, or just feel more commited or whatever.
