To filter or not?

Nobody is saying that scratches or cracks are going to impact the resolution or sharpness signficantly. Poor glass leads to low contrast and saturation... You should compare side by side a great filter (or no filter) with a $15 one and see the difference. I was a bit surprised when i saw the difference.
