Decent Trek for the commuter.

I've had to stand for hours in St.Petersburg's 'subways'. I understand the pain.

I know this because I used to be one of them:eek:

The other way is the highway....on my bike? **** no:p

gahhhh... <Jeeebus rips scrap sheet of paper in anger>

Had to go to a wedding in Connecticut a couple years back. Hopped on the Beltway on a Friday at 2:45pm from Tyson's Corner... took 2 1/2 hours to make that god forsaken 15 mile stretch before 95 branches off. Not my favorite trip on the Beltway.

It takes me a minimum of 1hr30 mins each way every day. Most times it takes 2+ hours to get to work, and about 1hr45 mins to get home.

I drive in from the West on I-66 to Reston/Chantilly. Anytime I'm on my way to work and hear that there has been an accident on the traffic report I know I'm looking at 2hr30mins AT LEAST.

Not to mention the construction that always screws up traffic..

Yeah, my commute is screwed up everyday as well. You know its bad when you can walk to your destination in less time than it takes with public transportation. I just don't feel like walking 45 minutes one way.

And that ladies and gentleman is why I don't work in DC, I am already near going crazy going from Manassas to Vienna everyday. If I was to work in DC I'd have to live in DC (or some place really close to it)

I had to travel to Vienna for training for a week. Talk about a nightmare getting out of there at 4:00-4:30 :(
