my configuration as below
now i wanna change my gpu to a 4870 or a 4850

now will my psu or my mother board or my processor hold it back
i prefer a 4870 (1 gb one preferably)
so any advice will be greatly appreciated

It won't be held back, but what size monitor are you playing on? Which games are slow?

4850 is more of a sidegrade, go for the 1GB 4870 if you want to see any real difference.

Better yet, I think the next round of high-end cards are due from nV in like March/April so it might be worth a short wait (if nothing else new cards will hack down the prices of current cards).

@blain iam kinda not ready yet to cough up 500 bucks may be soon like in a year or so when we get all nice cards from nvidia i will get it

but hey will my psu hold me back
u know only 600 watts

PSU should be fine for a singleGPU setup.

If you consider going SLI/CF you're going to want a PSU from a better maker.

well excatly i had plans to do it in feb or march this year
and i roughly had 200$(even less but by that time i may get some more revenue)

8800GT's are still awesome performance per dollar, and they keep up in new games surprisingly well. It's a great card (but loud and hot)

650TX is actually better. Made by Seasonic with more stable power output.

well my case is a good one with many fans
good ventillation good for a 50$ case
it has a transperent window too
i just dont like it design(its kinda not beautiful)
