And a buyout would be bad or good for stock holders?

There was a previous thread on this and I argued for buying. However, after looking at their financials, it doesn't seem like a long-term hold. I haven't seen the restrictions on the stock, but if you can't sell it right away, don't buy it.
If you can, hold it to get the IPO runup, then sell it.

I was on the fence about buying. I decided against it. If you look at the market analysis and what most analyst say, it looks like it will head straight down the moment it goes public.
The question is, will they be bought out. If so, then you stand a good chance of making some solid money.
I do not believe this will be an IPO that goes up after going public.

Same here. I agree that this may not be a long term hold, but short term (first week or two) I think they will do ok. The thing that pushed me over was the amount of hype on the street about this and the BurgerKing IPO. I guess we shall see![]()

I put an offer in for 5000 shares, waiting until later to see how many I actually get (expecting about 1250) or so...

Oops, had to log out and log back in. Got 1300 also. So now good luck to both of us![]()
