to buy or not a p35-ds3r or not

My P35-DS3R GOT WET AND SELF DESTROYED. EVERYTHING ELSE IS OK. I HAVE AND OLD Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor BX80557E6750.

WHAT MOTHERBOARD SHOULD I BUY INSTEAD OF GIGABYTE P35-DS3R.

BY THE WAY, I HAVE A INTEL I5 2500K CPU ON MY REGULAR COMPUTER.

THE NEW/OLD MOTHERBOARD FOR THE CORE 2 DUO E6750 is used AS A BACKUP.

ANY RECOMMENDATION GREATLY APPRECIATED.

You don't mention what you actually use this "backup" pc for, with that in mind you need to find the cheapest board that your CPU will fit that does what you need it to do.

You also need to find your capslock key btw...

If it is a price you are comfortable paying, go for it. The Gigabyte P35-DS3R is a good board. P45 would be better if overclocking, but otherwise not going to make much difference.
