JHC, the funeral industry manages to turn natural rotting into a $7K+ bill. If we bury corpses without the embalming and without the concrete vault and without the metal lined casket, the same thing happens for the price of a half hour on a backhoe.
 
I best I have heard is that in Tibet there is a practice to put the bodies out for the vultures. How cool is that were it not for all the toxins that humans accumulate in their fat.

I think sky burial has been banned in India, because people don't like finding random body parts in their yard. I kind of approve of sky burial though. I'll probably land in the Salish Sea by the Neptune society from a WA state ferry.

Seems to have gone up since last time I looked at it a year ago 😕

Pretty nuts. At this point cremate me or compost me - WHICHEVER IS CHEAPER!
