To anyone that wears contacts - "Night and Day"

Contacts that can be worn around the clock for up to a month, and then discarded. Anybody have experience with these? One reason I hate contacts is that I have to mess with my eyes, but if it's really only once every 30 days, then I wanna give this a shot.

I asked my doctor about these and she still doesnt like to recommend them to people. They're better than wearing normal contacts 24/7 but she said your eyes still dont get the proper amount of oxygen to them.

I tried them for a while, but they made my eyes dry and gritty and after a while they started to infect my eyelids. I had to take special eye drops to fix them and then I switched back to normal lenses.

I've been using extended wear contacts for the past year now. No problems what so ever. I just usually re-wet them ever 2 weeks or so. May need eye drops whenever I've been in a smokey environment.

i've had the day/night for about a year now

for a while I could wear them all the time and not have any problems.

but for some reason next batch i got or maybe just different environment from home ---> school

but in the morning my eyes would be really uh crusty i guess and the contacts were noticable/bothersome

they are very comfortable though and i don't have any problems when i take it out at night...::shrug::

but yah as someone said above i had the problem of eyes getting too dry.

i guess it's just one of those things that if i happen to fall asleep in them there won't be any pain/lost contacts the next day.

I cant imagine wearing contacts for 30 days - i HAVE to take mine out every night (although they are not day/night ones) else my eyes feel crusty. It takes like 15 seconds to put them in and take them out.

i know it is highly injurious to my eyes, but i end up falling asleep before taking out the contacts. might wanna look into these unless i get a LASIK surgery in the near future...

I HAVE THEM

they work but i cant leave mine in for more then 3 days straight my eyes dont like that

with them you have to get tested to see if they ill work because there is atill a good risk of swelling of the cornea, and corneal ulsers, most peopel cant wear them for more then about a week before they have to take them out, they are a better contact and can be worn day to day, and be left in when a nessisity, which is better then leaving the older ones in

best thing is to take them out every night. your eyes probably will be harmed by oxygen shortage, even if it's getting more oxygen than w/ other contacts.

i used to have normal contacts and i could sleep with them in and my eyes would be moderately, but not really that dry in the mornings, i told my doctor, he told me i really shouldnt, and then asked if i wanted to switch to n&d's and i did. and now i have no problems with being dry at all. i cant tell they are in, or anything. i absolutely love them.
