To any rc5 people that might still care about the project

Just thought Id let ya know I should be adding a Athlon 700 and a Athlon XP 1800+ soon to my little herd.

With any luck this is what I'll end up with:

Athlon XP 1800+@1700Ghz
Duron 900@1000Ghz
Athlon 700@850MHz
Athlon700@???
Athlon XP 1800+@??? (I hope 1700GHz as the one I have now)

Id thought about switching over to seti or something since it seems rc5 is all but dead. I was looking at mikas proxy stats and saw that Im making up 1% of the total team which seems sad since Im only doing 3800-4000 wus a day.

EDIT: oppsss......I forgot I also have a powerful Pentium 200MMX 🙂

That's a fairly impressive herd, DragonFire. Well able to take up 1% of the traffic on Mika's... Note, though, that not all team blocks go through Mika's. You're not quite 1% of the team effort right now. Quite a few still submit RC5 blocks (I know I've got a number of remote clients still chugging away on RC5).

When I said was making up 1%, I didnt mean overalll but for certain days.....daily total

Even if you go with dnet, it says 3,000+ memebers when in fact there is only about 400 or so still doing it 🙁

Nice assimilation 🙂 I'm still cracking at TAcube, but it's not as fun as it used to be. Hopefully we'll find the darned key soon.

After looking at dnet stats, I can see why poof would want my herd 🙂 hehehe........

I know how it can be poof, in fact my whole herd is in my house......I have 4 computers right now and only one of them gets used and here I am building two more for rc5......I must be nuts

I have 15 and HAVE lost my mind, so don't worry about it! 😕 😛

[EDIT: But I'll still take 'em anyway! 😛]

Are they not cracking for rc5 since your dnet stats show nothing being done?

They're flushing through my own pproxy which hasn't been dumped yet... 😉

[EDIT: And let me add that I run about 6 different DC projects on all these machines so only some are doing RC5 & OGR. But of course, I got a new XP 1900 coming in so... heh. 😛]

<< And let me add that, yes, Poof is crazy! 🙂

LOL! 😀

A cracker can never have enef computers!

DragonFire,
Please don't get discouraged. There are still a lot of people that do RC5. It's just that SETI with the race going on made it sit in the background for now. RC5 was the largest program that we used to do. Till the Dave Mc thing and the SETI race. Give it some time. It will come back. 😀

/me is still crunching RC5 blocks for the team..........

RC5 till the end, just added new toy to crunch packets:

RC5: Summary: 199 packets (452.00 stats units) 0.03:16:54.91 - [10.31 Mkeys/s]

Ok, just so it doesn't sound like I'm singling Poof out ... There's a list of crazies in this group about a half mile long (using really small typeface to make the list, too)!

And I know my spot of honor is near the top. (Hey, I celebrated the birth of my first born by putting together a dualeron system in his honor! 🙂 )

I just moved a Celeron 600 from SETI to RC5... I know it's not much, but every bit helps! 🙂

I know this sounds dumb... but I haven't done this in a while. Does the DNET client auto flush? Do I need to change any settings, to get it to?

10.31 Mkeys/s ??? Holy Shmokes! What the heck is that???

:Q

Maybe a Dual g4 sumthin'??!!! 😀

10.31 Mkeys/s ???

Truly amazing!

Until today, I was running 11 rigs in my herd, including two dual Intels and barely getting 17.6 Mkeys/s. Just added 3 more rigs during the past two days.

I have noted that Intel P4s aren't very good at RC5. Put a 1.4 GHz on yesterday. In 24 hours, it had only completed 598 blocks.
