To all Plextor Users ... Why should I bother installing PlexTool?s

Hi,

I have a Plextor CDRW drive, and I'm quite happy with it. I'm running Windows XP SP2, and I work with the drive with no problems.

Now I've just installed a Plextor DVDRW drive, and I would like to know, from your opinions, why should I bother installing PlexTools?

What features will they provide?

Thanks

They are guaranteed to:
- take up x amount of space
- take up a slot in the Programs menu

lol, yes, that's the reasonn I didn't install them so far ... well, the first OS installation I had, when I bought my first Plextor drive, I installed the tools ... they tool resources on startup and on memory while I used the OS. I can't remember to use them for anything but to get info about the drive ... which took about the 30 first minutes after installing drive and software ... I browse through the neat information, and that was it ... never used it again ... after that I made several OSreinstalls, and a new computer, and it was never seen on my computers again ...

That's why I'm asking for some feature really usefull 😀 or else it won't even get out of the paper sleeve. (not even to use as a base for my beer bottle, it would potentially scratch my forniture 😀)

I can't think of any reason to install them. My PX 708-UF2 does everything I want with already installed DVD burning software.
