I was an asshole to my mother once, and my father told me.
I deserved it.

If the situation warrents it.
Now I am not talking about a 7 year old. Obvious we are talking about
older teenager. Keep in mind most teenagers are actually self absorbed assholes.
So usually the title fits.

Though I do think Get out of the way you are such an asshole probably is alittle extreme.

It was actually just a real small argument but some dude lost his temper.

if you have been called an asshole,
well, maybe it was not meant to be taken in the same way as "I Love you"
But sometimes we all are called names, and call others crude names that are not nice.

Sorry to anyone whose feeling I have hurt. 🙁

I know I am not perfect, but;sometimes, forget that the rest of the world isn't Perfect either.

Hugs to all,who had a tough day..

You can call someone an "a$$hole" in a not so serious tone and you can yell at someone.

No, but I did vote that Milennium was one in an earlier thread.

He's just an asshole wannabe.

If he was being a little biyatch, then yes I would call the little retard an asshole 😀

A lot of it would depend on what the term really means to you.

I grew up in a family that never used curse words, I can remember hearing my mother say "dammit" once or twice, but that is seriously it. Because of that, I find the word to be highly offensive and would only use it against someone that I really had no regard for at all.

On the other hand, I know certain people that use the word to equally describe someone that cuts them off in traffic and someone that takes the last cookie in the house. To them it doesn't mean much more than calling someone a jerk and they wouldn't expect to severely hurt someone's feelings by using it.

If he was being one. Yes. Constructively, but yes. Also depends on his age: I wouldn't if he was a minor, not on his own.

If my child can't handle being called a name I really don't want it.

you don't get it...... as usual 😉

Sure I do. People need to learn the words are incapable of injuring a person. They only hurt you if you let them.

Awww...is my harshy-warshy, toney-woney going to upset hims??

I've been called that and others plenty of times.

My mom called me a "son of a b1tch" before, and one time I finally decided to talk back and said "What does that make you?." Needless to say the beatings ensued...
