Oregon still sucks because they have laws against the cool aerial fireworks (like mortars).

Washington is where all the cool fireworks are at.

True dat. I used to live in Washington. Went to an Indian reservation, where apparently they can sell anything, and someone tried to sell me a watermelon with a fuse sticking out of it (presumably it was full of gunpowder) and another guy tried to sell me half a stick of dynamite.

Fireworks are illegal as hell here in IL, howover, an hour or so drive east and you are in indiana.
My favorite fireworks store has been the Sheltons in Porter Indiana.

Sheltons Porter Indiana

Judging by your AT name, I don't think you should be allowed to have fireworks :Q

😛

For people in LA looking for fireworks (I'll leave the legality to you) just go to San Bernardino. Go to Interstate 10 East to San Bernardino. I saw some a few different places, but one place I recall is Waterman exit (first exit East of 215), where there's a stand near the exit. Careful driving as the big intersection there has about 6 cameras.

Anybody know if they sell these in New Hampshire? Every year I go up there (I'm from Massachusetts) and buy some. That package looks incredible though and a much better deal than what we got this year.

Just make a visit to the drug store.

Salt Petre, Charcoal & Sulfur.

You know, I can never find Salt Peter. No matter which pharmacy. Seriously though, I've looked it must be under some odd name.

Well come to New York nothing is legal here except smoke devices.

You wouldn't think that if you were in Washington Heights last night.

What are you talking about? you can have as much morphine and methadone as your doctor will prescribe, but you can't get bud. smart, huh?

I live in Iowa(right next to the mayor) and they could care less if you do fireworks, year round even. They just want you to be smart and clean up after you're done.

In Wisconsin, you can buy ALL the fireworks you want, year round some places, you just can't do them in town. There prices might be high where that other dude gets them, but they're cheap down by Platteville (near the WI/IA border)

In Texas...there was NOBODY to jail me 🙂

me and my bro did fireworks, huge rockets and multi flashers/fountains in-town 🙂

In IL you would only get sparklers... but next year those are illegal too

No complaints here.

I've been burned too many times by small children in a croud using sparklers.

Every 2-3 three years I ... umm ... know this guy who goes out of state and gets 2 years worth of tube based airial fireworks.

Maybe one of these years ... ummm ... HE ... should just get himself a license.

Hah. I probably shouldn't have been allowed to have fireworks in the late 80s or early 90s, back when I was a kid/teen, but I'm 25 now, and am actually responsible with them. I just kept my old nickname, even though it should be something more like "PlayWithFireButDontBurnAnythingDown" though that's too long.

Where in Houston did you light them? They're illegal in Harris County. 😕

doesn't matter tho... I hae a friend who "hooks it up". We can have the legal fireworks stands but those arent any fun... =)

Maybe they were too busy buying/eating those holiday donuts with the red, white and blue sprinkles on them 😛
