This morning I walked past Tmobile store and saw the ad with Cliq XT, HD2, and other Nokia smartphone for $9 a month with approval credit I am like wow that is cheap I could have two phones. I have seen some people carry two phones with them like me (iPhone and Sidekick 3) but i pay an average $90 a month for both (data plan) I am thinking about giving up my 3 year old Sidekick for either Cliq XT or HD2

do you guys think 2 phones are too much? And correct me if I am wrong HD2 can't upgrade to windows phone 7? And I don't know what verision of android on Cliq XT

cliq xt is a special brew. And I believe the $9 is a basic companion package to one of their non-data plans.

HD2 will not have an official upgrade to WP7, however, the guys at XDA will, actually, I think someone already has put it on the HD2. However, it's hit or miss how functional the device is with a custom ROM, and there's the very real possibility you could brick it.

I'm not a big fan of the Cliq, but the phone isn't really intended for a power user, more for the social networking types (not that that's a bad thing)...

Dunno where they're getting the $9/month figure from though, that can't be with a data plan...

It's their new payment plan for phones but you end up paying a lot more in the long run as you almost always do with payment plans.
