I like TLC's more obscure shows. One time they had a show called "Inventions" or something to that effect, and spent a whole hour on the development of office supplies. Now THERE'S some solid entertainment. Did you know the inventor of White Out is the mother of Mike Nesmith of the Monkees?

One show I thought was really cool was one called "Connections" where some wigged out English guy shows how like 50 seemingly unrelated events are all interconnected. It's pretty cool, I think they show it on Discovery Science now.

Holy Jebus I can't believe how many people have said TLC. For me it is without a doubt no questions asked ESPN.

national hockey night, Sunday night football, wednesday night baseball, sportscenter, pardon the interruption, all the draft specials, baseball tonight, NFL Primetime, NFL countdown... i could not live w/o ESPN (or espn2, espnews )

ESPN, although I don't watch it that much, but once in a while there is something on that is mission critical.

ESPN...I wish I could get ESPN classic.
I catch some great stuff on Classic, old Ali fights, the original Endless Summer, ummmm Classic drool :p

Yeah, that's why it's my favorite ESPN channel. I'm a big fan of watching classic matches or the highlights on Sportscenter. I get bored watching entire matches. :D

The NBA is on ESPN next season.

I'll take PBS for all my smart, learn-something shows.
