Tivo Users, Help Me Out

There is a Flonase commercial that is shot in black and white... a man and a woman in the late 30's or 40's.

If you watch the end frame by frame, there are two frames of waving Nazi flag at the end of the commercial.

I don't get it. If you get a chance to see this, LMK what you think. My husband just showed it to me and we are both very curious as to WTF it is doing there.

Thanks, Batti. PM me if you catch it!

I don't know what channel it was on. The commercial airs on various stations.

And for those who call BS... come on. I don't have time for that kind of thing. I'm not some kid fooling around here. We really saw it and I am really interested in finding out if anyone else has seen it. It was quite startling.

I've seen the commercial in question many times, and next time I catch it, I'll pause and rewind. In the meantime, in what part of the shot is the flag? Just so I'll know where to look 🙂.

Why the hell would there be lawsuits over a Schwastica on TV?

yeh, i see neonazi specials all the time on history channel with people dressed up in nazi atire waving schwasticas

I don't know if this is on topic, but the swastika symbol in other countries -and before the nazis- means good luck or well-being. It's used a lot by Hindus and also by buddhists and doesn't mean the same thing it does over here. I've seen it designating where temples were on maps and things like that.

Also, what part of the commerical is it, i'm tivo ready.

I'm guessing somebody got fired from the ad agency and decided to leave a little present for the company in the form of this. (if it's true)

A couple of frames wouldn't be noticeable unless you watched it frame by frame.

Isla how did it come about that you were able to watch it frame by frame? Tivo?

easy. you would see some hyper-sensitive people that see it and claim racism!

Flonase is raciest and MUST be punished.

Not saying they would win. But there would be lawsuits i imagine.

The symbol in Buddhism is inverted form the Nazi symbol. The Nazis couldn't even draw the damn thing right in the first place. 😛

🙂 I am glad someone knows what I am talking about.

YES, I saw it with TIVO. It is the LAST TWO frames of the commercial. It stands out because although the commercial is in black and white, the flag is red.

I hope that those of you with Tivo can find it... I wonder how many other weird things I will see going through commercials frame by frame!

The nazi's weren't copying the other symbol, the swastika is a traditional german cross supposidly in a spinning motion if I remember correctly to symbolize the longevity and advancement of the third reich.
