I'm paying over $15.95 a month for my Comcast DVR, once you include the box rental fee, the DVR service fee, and the "HD access fee". That doesn't include the taxes and the bullshit FCC fees that they tack on your bill.
 
I just want a digital device that can record tv shows. I'm looking online about Tivos and DVR's and they all have some stupid subscriptions or other goofy hidden costs. Make's me rather just want to use a VCR.
