Also try Sage TV it is a good PVR frotend, there are a lot of these out with Sage and Snapstream being the biggest of the two, also the mediaportal above is free as Crue posted, there is also one called Meedio which cost $$ but used to be free. I have tried all of these and now must admit IMO that Windows MCE 2k5 beats them all hands down.

GBPVR is not bad. Missing a few logical things in the interface. Probably not a hard fix it just isn't smooth yet. At least not compared to sagetv. Going to try btv next and see.

If you are looking for something that works, I would stick with SnapStream. The MediaPortal is a good idea, but it will take a lot more development to get it into a fully-functioning state.

True, but $60-80 vs. FREE helps us poor folks out quite a bit. ;)
