There is a perk that explodes all demolitions once you die. I swear that at one point during many matches they never went off. Only one or twice I've seen them activated after I died. Must be a glitch or something. I've never used the arc mines. Are they the ones that electrocute enemies when they walk by?

I feel the game is a bit too fast for mines though. I'm trying to get to level 50. I'm 48 now and I'm not sure if I'll regen after. What are the advantages ?

Regenerating offers no advantages at all, much like prestiging in CoD.

I did it for the achievement and little badge next to my name but having to unlock all the weapons again is a bit of a chore.

I did "regen" once and won't do it again. You're at too much of a disadvantage without all the unlocks, especially the Titan weapons.

True, BUT, its nice to have a challenge. I regened and I am using only the smart pistol until I max and unlock everything related.

I'm finding the new Beta playlist to be enough of a challenge. If you have the patience to let it run a few rounds, you'll find yourself in competitive matches.

Also, the community is definitely showing its head in TF. On the huge wide open Training depot map, people are sniping from the outlying buildings and getting on the roof of the central building to pick people off. In Attrition it's just annoying and asinine. (Yep, they still lost that match)

Yup at one point I felt like I was playing cod for a minute. You can tell because some teams I'm up against are all gen 8 and 9 players. Man...the amount of time you have to put in to get there.

May have to try it again, first time I tried three matches and just demolished every time with me being the only decent player on the team.

I just read over the generations and certainly won't be going far as I despise sniper rifles, I will not be sniping just to gen up.

I basically stopped playing this a couple weeks ago and haven't touched it since. Thinking of trading it in for $40 while value is still high on it. I just haven't been able to bring myself to keep playing. Nothing particularly standout bad or anything at all. Just...no motivation for me to play it and I dunno why that would be. I guess I had my fill of what it has to offer.

Maybe its just the genre of game? I can't wait to try Evolve. Titanfall is still fun to me, but I only play it 3-4 times a week so I'm not tired of it yet.

I like FPS games. I liked this when it released and played it quite a bit for a while. Then stopped for a bit and never went back. Oh well. I take nothing away from the game...it's really pretty good. I guess it's just not something I can keep on going with which is fine, some people gave up on other games I put thousands of hours into. I can always pick it up used somewhere later on if some of the DLC stuff turns out to be really good.

IGN does some really high value stuff like that. Not long ago they did a video that had ships from Star Wars and Star Trek flying above San Fran and stuff...funny and amazing!

Dead Man's Trigger. Love it. Use it all the time. But yeah, I've had that happen, too. I had one match over the weekend where they never went off.

I like to place a couple satchels at each end of the objective (Hardpoint), and then I camp nearby. If I see the point start to get taken, I use my Active Radar Pulse and try to take the out with my primary. Worst case scenario, I lose the battle and my satchels take them out.

The amount of whining I hear due to this is just absolutely delicious.

I owned a guy for an entire match (I think I killed him 6 or 7 times). I was using the shottie (for challenges - I hate that thing), satchels, and DMT. He was all "shottie sucks. and satchels are way OP. DMT is just cheap."

"So basically you're just pissed at all the ways I killed you?"

It's taking me longer to reach level 49 than I expected. I haven't played in a while because I've been busy. Don't think I'll regen but there aren't many weapons to unlock anyway. Game is still fun but I could see how it could get tiresome without new weapons or game modes.

I do that to, lol. Love grieving. Used to do this with c4 in mw2 as well 🙂

Love the drop kicks to. I was gunning someone down, ran out of ammo, they were bouncing on the wall trying to get away, I jumped up and dropped kicked him. Epic, lol.

Also, punching potential rodeo pilots in the face with my titan is also epic.

Titanfall Expedition DLC Coming in May

Titled Titanfall Expedition, the DLC will arrive in May with three maps that take place after Titanfall's campaign.

The promo picture below shows a sneak peak at a map called "Swampland." One main feature of the map is the large number of trees which allow you to wall run in crazy, unpredictable paths. The second map, Runoff, is loosely connected to Swampland. According to the developers, "it has a lot of pipes and water." War Games, the last map, takes place within the area titan pilots train in.

Respawn is also adding the ability to customize titans with decals -- an often-requested feature from fans. Also, you'll be able to meet up with new Titanfall players by using identical hash tags.

"It's supposed to span beyond just gaming sites," Respawn said at its PAX East panel. "You don't have to trade gamertags and make parties and be online at the same time. It's not a way to boost. It's a way to coordinate so you can choose your teammates."

A recent patch added the Private Match mode, allowing you to play with and against your friends either casually or in tournaments. It also colors party members differently so it's easier to know where they are in the game.

I've had this as well but looking at the perk it says it only works for planted explosives.

I'm wondering if the ones that don't go off are ones that were still in mid air when you got killed.

At the time when they did not go off, they were laying on the ground. Maybe satchels do not count.
