Played for a few hours this evening, but I don't think this type of game is for me. The squads seem to spend more time picking up/drop gear than actually engaging with others. Many of the matches we went pretty far, but most of the time we didn't have but a single kill.
there are 2 mindsets. collect and hide and violence.

PUBG was great when it was novel, but this might be the first BR I really find fun. Matches are faster, movement and shooting feels good, by far the best inventory/weaponmod management, squad dynamics are good, abilities add flavor and aren't *too* overpowered. No godawful fortnite gimmicks--just a straight up proper fps shooter. They just need to work on the netcode now.
