Titan Quest: Immortal Throne

Reviews have been pretty good. I wanted to try it, but the bad memory of Dungeon Siege haunts me. Maybe it wasn't really that bad, maybe just my tastes for Diablo type of games has changed.

I have played TQ and just finished up TQ:IT. I have to say it is more of the same, but thats meant in a positive light. Lots of new armor/weap drops (i completed it on legendary)The storyline is a bit weak but its a hack n slash game, i wasnt bothered by the shallow story. I just wanted to kill bad ass boss mobs and there are plenty of them.

I think the average is about 12-15 hrs of play but I always like seeing every inch of the map as i go through so i took my time. I finished TQ:IT in approx 25ish hrs. All in all, i wasnt dissapointed, it was quite enjoyable!

It's a really fun game, but I think you should let it drop in price a bit if you already have played the original. If TQ is tottaly new to you, the game is fun and very Diablo-ish. (Extremely so, Dungeon Siege wasn't ever really close to being Diablo-ish)

If you can get the expansion and original for under $30, then do so. Wait off if you can't.

It's on sale this week at Circuit City for $25 and you get the original TQ for $5 when you buy the expansion. I picked it up for a rainy day, $30 total seems like a good price to pay for it.
