Although I have barely scratched the surface in that game, you can get the codes online if you want. But I think they will only work once you get to the last act

There are a few codes that unlock and spawn sets. From what I've heard they cannot be sold. I have seen them on the net, a few good sites for it are titanquest.net, titanquest vault and titan quest @ game banshee. I don't know the complete address for them but google either of those and it should be at the top of the list.

I've been having fun with this game for awhile now, although I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it. I haven't even got around to trying the new mastery yet, just been using my other toons that I've imported from the original game.

I am playing it so much I havent had time to talk about it.
Its a worthy sucessor to Diablo 2. Not any deeper but a lot of fun and very pretty.
Still dont have the add-on.
Got 4 characters up to level 8: A warrior/defender, storm/earth, spirit/nature and rogue/hunter.

Went ahead with the elementalist and she's at level 20 now. Most points are in the basic fire and ice attack upgrades. Got a strong fire staff with 3 fire based runes in it. She averages 270 damage per second. Been looking at some boards and thats pretty darn good for a level 20 character.
Only problem is she's a cream puff and gets wiped out quickly. Next level I put points into the Core Dweller skill and call in some interception. I hear that enemies usually go for your summons first.

I have 3 characters:

1st - Conan, Conqueror (war+defense) lvl 60+. Just killed legendary ty solo the other night and I'm feeling like he is going to need a few more lvls before fighting hades.
2nd - Crimson, Slayer (war+hunt) lvl 50+, up to legenary.
3rd - Nyx, Ranger (hunt+nature) lvl 40+, still in epic and haven't played him in awhile.

When I do finally get around to trying dream, i'm planning on going dream+defense.

JUST GOT IT!

Pretty sweet so far, but I find it amusing the game costs 20 bucks and the add-on is 30. :)

The thing I like best is being able to recover your charms from items, something that was sorely missed in Diablo 2. I also like being able to share items between characters, something that was desperately missed in Diablo 2.
I cant even count how many badass spears my Necromancer picked up over the years, and all I could think was "why does my Amazon keep getting kickass wands and rods?". In Titan Quest, my Elementalist got a really nice sword and she couldnt use it right away and didnt even need it when her strength was finally high enough. Gave it to my Conqueror and life is good. When I start playing with him he'll be a lot more dangerous.

Making your own artifacts seems pretty cool, but I've only found one recipe so far and its not that great.

My girl has a new, better staff (thanks to the ability to recover charms) and is now at level 23 and averaging about 360 damage per second.

Do you play any online?

The only extra gear I have left as of now is for magic users and I could give you if you want it. Although it may take you awhile to be able to use, they are purples.

I dont play online and I have gear that I like. Thanks anyway.
My earth and storm materies are maxed out. I have an intelligence of 360 and a pretty high dexterity. I got lucky and have some nice mage armor and some excellent bracers, leggings, and jewelery. They all give me fat bonuses to energy, energy recharge, and IQ. The body armor has a defence of about 92, which is triple the defense for normal mage armor in my stage of the game.
Also, all the items have charms that increase energy and regeneration.

I will have to look up those codes someday.
Also, in case anyone didnt realize, Intelligence increases your damage with staffs. I didnt know that until I hovered my mouse over the stuff in the character screen. I thought it was just for energy and energy regen (and item requirements).

Hum. What makes a good combo with earth? Dream? Storm? Spirit ?

All 3 choices are good. Earth/Spirit is a Conjurer, I believe, which is a pretty powerful combination.

In case anybody was wondering, when you enter the codes the items fall at your feet, no searching or quests involved.
BUT, none of them can be used until level 30. My elementalist just hit level 25 so she is out of luck.
ALSO, it doesnt look like any of the sets are geared towards pure mages, so my girl may be permanently out of luck.

I bought the Best Buy version that included a code to unlock armor, helmet (I think) and weapon "of the Merchant". By the time I could use it, level 30, I already had better equipment.

And has anyone been able to get the items needed for a recipe. I've been close but am always stuck without one of the items.

One item is always a rare drop. Which means lots of farming. But with a bunch of friends we did manage to complete a significant number of artifacts.

Titan Quest is awesome. Severely under rated game. The best hack and slash since the Diablo games

Yep, TQ+IT rocks. Bought the Steam bundle for $30 and I've been hooked ever since. Refreshing change-up from the stale FPS scene.

The unlockable sets suck, IMO.

War+Dream (dual wield) is the juggernaut of destruction... the whole game is a little too easy with this combo.

Harbinger is an amazingly good class. I recently started playing a Spellbreaker and the same holds true - there's very little challenge right now but I'm sure that will change in Act 3.

I have to agree about Spellbreaker. My first character is Hunting/Defense (Warden, Spear Shield guy... THIS IS SPARTA). A lot of fun but and up to level 55. But I just started a Spellbraker and he is only level 26 and I don't even use health potions anymore except on bosses. I've stopped even picking them up. He deals an insane amount of damage and with lifeleach gets a lot back. Though I will admit he has been helped by good items that I harvested with my Warden.

Success with some builds can be very gear-dependent. I found some great armor (Labyrinthine Cuirass and half of the Theban set) early on that made the game a breeze up until Typhon ... those items truly made the difference. I also held off the Dual Wield tree until I was level 28-29 and had the points to really make it shine.

That is one aspect of TQ that I still have trouble adapting to as compared to a typical FPS: success is more a result of time invested in farming and leveling rather than personal skill. It's pretty frustrating having to go through areas over and over because you know you need a certain resistance, item or skill to deal with particular enemies / areas. It's also very addicting...
