Customs are a pain to deal with, shipping alone is $50-250 (untracked national vs. Fedex/alternative) each way. There's no way it's worth it.

Agreed. I have some acquaintances in the US and wanted them to buy me a CPU from a MicroCenter because I hate our prices(literally 2x difference) and they sent me the CPU as a gift and the package didn't even get thru customs :(

Our customs here pisses me off big time. They open every package and search around in it. Sometimes things get missing and its a long back and forth whose fault it is.

Shipping by fedex costs an arm and a leg and the damn Custom officers love to charge high duties to get more money from you. Sometimes I have to pay Custom brokers to clear the packages from Customs which adds to the overall costs.

I am scared to even ship a card that is $400.00 US money. Can you imagine me shipping a $1,000 US video card? After the final costs are tallied, I could probably buy a nice gaming computer system with monitor included...lol!

You (Lepton87) have some serious balls in ordering such an expensive video card. Sorry it did not work out for you. Lesson learned I hope?
