Those Korean tires will fuck you over in the long run when they die in 10,000 miles. Oh God, I almost can not WAIT for your next post here when they wear out hahahahahha.
Tires shops only take one brand really seriously - Michelin (French, strangely enough).
The rest are decent or good, like the Japanese (Bridgestone, Yokohama) and other European (Conti, Pirellis etc). I would not even bother with the American Goodyears and Firestones, they haven't made any cream of the crop as far as I know, but then I don't look at 14" tires.
Personally, I will be getting Contis or Yokohamas in a few weeks as my car will not pass inspection one tire that has cords showing (nail in it, ran under pressure for too long). Would love another $1000 set of Michelins but I think I will go a bit cheaper this time.
