Tires - I need new ones

So I'm looking at consumerreports.org's tire charts for my '02 Sequoia Limited and there are maybe 20 tires on the list.

So separate questions:

1) How reliable/independent is tirerack.com's rating?
2) Is there another resource for tire reviews/ratings?
3) Any personal recommendations? Wet/dry traction/braking are my primary concerns. Tread life is next. 99% of my driving is on city side-streets, 25-40 mph; ~19k miles in 5 years of daily driving.

My end goal is to find tires that I can buy locally, here or somewhere similar.

my best bet would be go look for a forum for your specific car and get people's opinions there.

i feel that tirerack's user reviews are too general. www.toyotanation.com is a good toyota forum but dunno how good their sequoia section is.

i haven't yet needed to get new tires for my car, but i'd do the same thing that i recommended you, good luck
