Tired of Outlook Express. Can you help me find a good e-mail program?

There are two main things I don't like about Outlook Express:

1. You can export the messages and address book but any subfolders you create in the address book aren't kept when importing into another mail program. Lots of work to recreate them. I need to be able to save setting quickly since I re-format my computer about twice a year.

2. Folder and subfolders are very limited in Outlook Express.

I'm looking for a small fast program, doesn't need to have a million features.

Thanks,

Mark

I actually just downloaded it. It's only importing the first name from my address book?

I have my own system . . . I write my mail in OE5.5, and download and process all incoming mail in Eudora Pro 4.3, soon-to-be 5.

The reason is fairly simple . . . I like Eudora's mail management much better. Embedded binaries and attachments are filed by name in easy to see folders, and it is a bit of a buffer (behind two firewalls) to some of the security problems inherent with OE.

But, Eudora is not nearly as capabale in creating e-mail in HTML format complete with music and animated graphics. OE wraps text around graphics . . . EP does not.

So, I use a split screen . . . Eudora on the right and OE on the left. 50/50 on a 19-inch monitor works very well for me.

I use the real Microsoft Outlook, the one that comes with Microsoft Office. I like the management features such as calendar, contacts, tasks, etc. Great for a student like myself.
