tirectly

I agree with this online dictionary...

Did you mean?
directly
tectly
tiredly
erectly
treacly
strictly
correctly
trioctile
direct
tractile
trityl
directory

Are you sure this is even a word? I just checked Dictionary.com, M-W.com and even did a Google search. All I'm coming up with is a suggestion that I might be searching for "directly".

Interesting that no one seems to have heard of this word.
It is an old southern expression, but it is rarely used these days.
I cannot find it on google or any slang dictionaries, so i knew the only information I would find would be from folks who have knowledge of this word from their life's experience.

Kind of like the newfoundland expression "Where you to?", which doesn't mean "where are you going", tirectly sounds like poor English somehow brought into a semi-common acceptance by English-unschooled twits.

I agree, I've heard it used, but mostly by older southerners. They use it in place of "directly", as in "I'll be goin' to the store tirectly to get more beer."

Not necessarily, but the people using this "word" clearly are.
