Tips on using a Tablet,

I have used a Wacom pad and stylus for over 5 years. That goes back to old serial connections. Your Bamboo is newer than my Graphire.

I like the Graphire because it combines wireless mouse and stylus. I use the mouse for macro things - normal surfing, etc. I use the stylus for art work and graphics editing that requires precision.

I originally got the Wacom because of wrist pain caused by tedious mouse editing of graphics. The stylus eliminated all that pain.

The stylus can do all mouse functions, and it is surprising how quickly you can adapt. The pad work area replicates the monitor screen, and it is quick and easy to move the cursor to any point. Clicks and double clicks are are default by taps, and there are programmable side buttons.

When I travel with a laptop, I really miss my Wacom.
