Alright. I need tips for talking to girls on the phone. I have the looks and stuff to get good first contacts but I seem to fail when it coems to talking on the phone. Basically I have discovered 3 things:

1) Keep the conversations as close to 50/50 as possible regarding who speaks.
2) Don't always call. Give her your number and wait for her to call you the second or third time.
3) Get off the phone before she does, if you can. That way you can see if she'll pull the "No don't go!" (she really wants you) or if she'll just say "Call me later" or "I'll call you later," or whatnot.

Hmmm..

Be yourself. It will flow very easily if you don't get anxious or try to make conversation, let the conversation happen, don't force the issue.

I used to get nervous too, but then I'd call and be pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. :)

Rule #1 should be, have something to say, even if you have to write it down on a notepad, and scratch things off as you go.

I get that a lot, but it's usually no, harder...

Wait, hmm... If she was on the phone with me, who was over there?

Make sure you turn down the volume on the tv so she doesnt hear the pr0n that you were watching and forgot to turn off.

And here is another tip. Breathing heavy and asking her to spank you is not a good idea, unless you are calling her on her 900 number line. ;)

Just be yourself, that is the most important thing of all. :)

You are (I assume) a guy. You are not supposed to talk on the phone unless it is to tell your friend, "Dude, come on over for a beer or two or nine."

Well, since I'm something of an expert on the subject... hehe, well, not really, but I did spend two and a half hours on the phone with Sarah tonight...

Be her friend.

That's all the advice I have.

What sucks is I don't know what to say. I can start conversations in person but I seem I can't on the phone. Any suggestions?

Hopefully you aren't like I was. I didn't really know what to say because I was a crappy boyfriend and didn't really care about her and thought females in general were pretty dumb and the main reason I was going out with her was because she looked really good. Needless to say the realtionship never worked and I carry my scars now.

But praise God some of my views have changed.

just don't try to hard to keep the conversation going alive. Fill words suck,

For example, quit the conversation if you've come to this:

"So...uhm...you...uhm....whatcha think you're gonna do this weekend?"

or this:

"Yea...so yea I was thinking such and such professor is a dickhead"

That's fine...right? Not if you talked about before in detail before you ask it. NEVER bring up topics twice.

Don't EVER tell them anything that you wanna keep private. Girls LOVE to gossip. Guys love to tell the brutal truth. Keep whatever you want to yourself. Thank me later.

Oh yea...this is a must. NEVER ALLUDE to the fact that your house might be empty. In times that the conversation begins to get boring, use the ol, "My *insert sibling* has to use the phone. I don't know about he/she, it's like the phone is an extension of their body! Well...talk to ya later"

I swear...the basics of sex and keeping a good phone conversation are extremely similar.

Sometimes people actually care. Sometimes you talk to people who pretend to care. One of you is always trying to please the other. Sometimes you just don't know when to quit.

Your more than half way there........ initiating the conversation is half the battle. Just be yourself and talk to her while your nude ;)

LOL, you don't need to plan a strategy and be careful not to say you are home alone or get off if the conversation gets boring. You are on the phone with this person because you want to and enjoy talking with this person...dating is not an art and not something where you should be treading on thin ice.

Sheesh!

If the girl likes BSB or 98 deg. hang up!!! Never force a conversation. Let her talk and listen to what she is saying. You can always talk about family, everyone can gripe about there parents for 50 min. Another way to make sure you have something to talk about is if you can get her to read your favorite book. But it is kind of hard finding a cute girl that actually reads.

Phone call Do's and Don't's

DO SAY:
- Oh, it's you again...
- You through yappin'? the game is on...
- Whatcha wearin' baby?? YOWZA, YOWZA!
- Hey, Buffy!-er, I mean, britney-er, Hey bambi!!...uh, what's your name again??

DON'T SAY:
- I was just thinking about you...
- Hey! glad you called!
- Finally, something good in my day..
- You have such a beautiful laugh.

Above all, NEVER end the conversation with "it was great talking to you". That spells certain disaster. Instead, end with a resounding "God, woman, you'd talk the hind leg off a mule!"

...wait.....switch those do's and don't's
