2. If I want to play my hand, place a chip on top of the cards? Wrong, always put a chip or trinket on your cards until it is your time to act. Otherwise players will know when you intend to fold.
3. Don't like at my cards prior to putting in the small blind/big blind? You can look at your cards at any time.
4. Tip $1 or $2 for a winning hand (assuming I'm playing the 1/2 or 2/4 tables) Right
5. Don't sit around all day trying to make a decision on my cards (this isn't the WSOP) Right
6. Do not move my cards off the felt? Right
7. No eating. :D Right
8. PROFIT Absolutely

Anything else I'm missing?

Yes, one other thing. Don't show your cards to anyone while in the hand. Some people like to show their neighbor their hand as if to say "Look what I am folding..."

Eating at the tables is allowed. Poker players don't want to miss hands if they don't have to. It affects their hourly rate.

Look around the table. If you can't spot a sucker right away, then you're the sucker. Got that from Rounders :p

Ok, so, always put a chip on my cards? Then when it is my turn to act at that time I'll fold (or call, check, raise, etc...)?

Correct. Some players put a chip/trinket on their cards and don't even look at them until it is their turn to act. Lessens the chance of giving tells away involuntarily.

basically like i said before when you bet just say your action first. If you want to raise say raise and then put the chips out to make it even, and then calculate how much you want to raise.

And the most important:

1) Fold when you have the second best hand
2) Stay in when you have the best hand

You dont have to put anything on your cards. Some players like to bring good luck charms and such and put things ontop of their cards. I guess it makes them feel more solid or something. The idea of not looking at your cards until its your turn to act is for several reasons.
1. So you dont give away a tell
2. You should be focusing on everyone else
3. You dont get attached to the hand before it gets to you.

In reality at a 1/2 in a casino no one is gonna care cause most people there are gonna suck.

At the 1/2 game I would normally play tight. When you get a hand bet it for value. A lot of the people at these tables are call stations and are gonan chase. Be prepared for bad beats but also be prepared to get paid off.
