I've always gone with 70% full. If I eat dinner at 6:00 and only fill up 50-60% full, then I have to eat a snack before bed or I can't sleep.
here's a simple trick i use to keep myself from overeating.
you should only eat until you feel about 50-60% full.
once you hit that point, just stop and move onto another activity. the key is to keep your mind occupied on something else other than food.
the desire to eat will last for another 5-10 minutes until your brain becomes totally engaged in something else.
you could take a brisk walk outside, play WoW, whatever it is you like to do that totally keeps your mind and body busy.
i'd avoid sitting on the couch and watching tv because it's too easy to munch on something during such a passive activity.
instead of playing wow I recommend fapping. it keeps your mind off of food for 20 seconds and you burn some calories.

If you listen that guy's amphetamine idea, you could probably do this for 3 hours. You'd lose so much weight, you'd be a fool not to be smoking meth. Just remember to stop when the weight is off or you'll start singing catchy songs about how you love cleaning things. example 1, example 2. Damn meth addicts should all be killed. It's true. You could eat ~5 per day of the original recipe and ~6 per day of the grilled and you'd probably still lose weight. You'd probably also be getting plenty of protein to boot. The sodium intake is horrendous, but I've never worried much about that anyway.
