a long time member here's been offering free pic hosting through pics.bbzzdd.com for a while now. there are plenty of free pic hosts out there, but pics.bbzzdd.com is sort of like the official pic site of ATOT.

yes, it's slow. but dissing pics.bbzzdd.com is pretty off limits here. if you don't like it, just use something else. people around here don't appreciate ripping on pics.bbzzdd.com because it's been around for so long.
 
I use TinyPic when I want to quickly post something. bbzzdd.com has become kinda slow since the last update. But it's free and I like the interface much better.

to be honest, i just thought he spelled the name wrong.
eh.
its never slow when i click on it but i can imagine during the workday it would get pretty bad.
and while there are many other places to go for it, i agree with some of the other posters that its great that someone donated time, energy and space to allow (almost exclusive) use to ATers for the greater good.
if he doesnt like it, dont use it.
or help out and raise some cash or find some other way to improve the service.

They begged and begged for people to resize pics. I mean some need to be big, but the picture of your new mouse doenst need to be 8990x 7450.

People just ignored them and continused to u/l huge pics and ate up their bandwidth, now the site has slowed, and everyone complains.

No good deed ever goes unpunished.
 
Why can't they impose a max resolution feature if that is indeed why it has become so slow?

As much i as i respect the guys running bbzzdd.com, it simply is too slow, & it wasn't before the "upgrade"

If there are too many large pics, get rid of them.
Too many inactive accounts? Get rid of them.

There's gotta be some way to make the site useable again.
 
every once in a while i'll check on bbzzdd to see if they've reverted back to its last version

Once again I'll state that it's a free service. If you don't like it or think it's too slow, use something else or don't click on links with pics.bbzzdd.com in them...

You people will bitch about anything and everything you can, and it truly pisses me off because whoever hosts it has their bandwidth raped daily just so you can look at damn pictures.

plus quite a few people took a lot of time putting it together (it wouldn't have gotten as big as it did without popularity)

So, just STFU and quit complaining. The few extra seconds you lose on each picture aren't going to make you grow older any faster.
