Hi there..!i got this little problem from time to time.
On my msi via 694x moterboard i ve got 2 udma66 slots(nothin strange here)
On the primary slot i ve got 2 hdds :master W.Digital of 15Gigs and a slave W.Digital too of 20Gigs , both on 66 wires ATA cable.
On the secondary its only an old Cdrom on a 33 ata cable.
Every once in a while the next problems apears: the bios reports that
its a failure about master boot record and it refuses to boot almost
if like their s no primary hdd.Even if i remove the second primary hdd their seem to be a problem the pc is booting after a long time.
All the problems are gone if i use instead of the 66 ata cable a regular and ageing 33 ata cable (but thats in not a solution 🙂 )
What should i do?Is there any cure for this ?
