What kind of soap are you supposed to use to clean tinted windows. I know a mild one, but what is a mild soap?

And how much should i use. Enough to make it bubbly? Or a tiny tiny bit?

I don't think he wanted to REMOVE the tint...

You can use mild detergent I believe. Just don't use anything with ammonia, as that will cause the tint to peel off eventually (ergo, don't use Windex). You shouldn't need a very large amount of soap in the water, just enough to make it slightly bubbly.

Go to an autoparts store and buy a window cleaner that says it's safe for tinted windows. I have some stuff from Trak Auto (their brand) that is about the best I've ever seen. Really makes the glass look good. I'm almost out of it, and since there are no Trak stores around, I dunno what I'm gunna do.

Cool thanks.

I love Rain-X. Im going to have to go get that stuff.hehe.

I wasnt sure if any of the soaps that are perfumed would be considered mild or not. I could only find those here at home.

While we are on the subject, what is the best wax that you know of. I usually use a hard wax, usually turtle wax, or a liquid wax (RainX brand). What about MacGuires cleaning wax? What makes it a "cleaning" wax.
