As soon as I turn the ignition there is a tinny rattling that comes directly from the engine. It almost sounds like rocks in a coffee can. I'm not much of a mechanic so am planning on taking it in on thursday. Hopefulyl nothing blows up driving to school tomorrow.

Also, do places like NAPA auto parts carry fuses? My fuse for my turn signal is fried and I need to replace it.

Car is a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria. All fluids are checked and good.

the rattle could be something as simple as a loose exhaust component... or actually... that sound is exactly what i would describe as the noise made when my tensioner pulley bearing went out.

Soo.. pay Ford Dealer $100 to check it out? I'm assuming thats what they'll cost just to examine it.
