I saw her in person once. I would have had the courage to approach her until she engaged me with those big beautiful eyes that seem to dance in delight. Carefree and purposeful at once.
Her face, a little more worn than her in studio makeup. But it still didn't detract. Her scar was really apparent, much more so than pictures. But golly, what a keeper.
I haven't felt that star struck since I met Paul Newman, Carl Haas, Jim Mcgee, Mario Andretti and Michael Andretti when I was a kid.
