<< pass the popcorn, hope he dies an agonizing death >>

Pffft. His death is orders of magnitude less painful than your average cancer patient's death. The victims will probably feel traumatized at the fact that his death "penalty" lets him off the hook so easy.

Is it lethal injection in the state that he is being killed in?.... Cause if he gained about 400-500 pounds and was persecuated in Washington, he could serve life in prison instead, just like that Rupe guy. (In Washington, you have the choice of Lethal injection or hanging, and he chose hanging, but the lawyer argued that it would be inhumane and that his head would pop off since he was so heavy!!!!) So this guy is still living in jail when he should have been, according to the sentence, dead.

GL, I agree with you. I went to school in Norman, Ok. and visited that building many times. I don't think that the government could find a horrible enough way to kill that bastard. Anyone that would take the lives of those innocent kids, not to mention all the adults that died also, can't die a painful enough death. Maybe if they injected him with Aids and then refused medical treatment.

If you read the article, the only people that will get to watch are the victims relatives at an undisclosed location over a secure video link. The chances of it leaking out to the public are very slim.

I do not understand how watching someone die is fulfilling.
It won't bring back the dead.

I think they should just put him in a cell with a guy named Bubba, he'll be plenty unhappy there.

I don't think thats the point, but there are many sayings about Revenge for a reason, people do wish for it.

in the words of method man,
they should sew his assh0le shut and keep feeding him and feeding him and feeding him until the extreme force of his fecal buildup literally rips him open a new one.
now that is what i call capital punishment.

I too think it should be televised. If people saw that we were serious about crime and punishment maybe they would think twice but as long as they know that if they get caught thay can do a few years and then get off they dont care.

I saw weekly hanging on all major networks.

How about putting it out on pay-per-view? The rest of us americans have rights, too....and give the money to the survivors, their families, and the people who died's families.

Where have you been? It is by now a well-known fact that the effect of such punishments on the amount of serious crimes (murder etc.) is nearly non-existent.

Usually someone doesn't commit a murder 'for fun', but either does it in some outrage or plans it weeks in advance. In both cases, such 'examples' (showing supposed murderers getting killed on television) will have no effect.

That said, I want to say that I think that the death-penalty doesn't serve any purpose in any civilized country. Death penalty equals revenge, revenge is always answered by revenge.

Damn right-wing whacko should be locked up in solitary for life.

With a daily dose of pig excretions for din-din.
