this is a snip from the article:
Europe can survive the current economic crisis if its leaders make good on commitments to turn their economies around, Treasury Secretary Geithner told CNBC Wednesday.
"Europe has the capacity to manage this," said Geither. "They made a decision to do it, and I believe they have the capacity to do that."

to lazy to make a poll, but does anyone believe that the failing euros will be able to reign in the beast? without civil wars? <- this is me commenting that i don't think that the euro zone economic issues of excessive spending and such will be resolved easily...
their track record is so good when times are good, rhetoric like this is a laugh when times are not so good... <- my sarcastic commentary on their ability to fix their economies...
this is the admin setting up to make the amendment the senate put in to oppose funding imf bailouts of countries that will never repay toothless... timmy and his boss will just say that every one is certainly able to pay them back because they will certainly get their house in order... <- my sarcastic commentary on the amendment put in the finance bill in the senate and how it will be irrelevant...
and they bitched so much that tarp money went to the euros... <- my sarcastic commentary on how it's going to be ok to send our tax $$$ to bail out foreign banks in this way, but it was so evil that it was done through keeping aig alive to pay its obligations and other such means...
