this is the admin setting up to make the amendment the senate put in to oppose funding imf bailouts of countries that will never repay toothless... timmy and his boss will just say that every one is certainly able to pay them back because they will certainly get their house in order... <- my sarcastic commentary on the amendment put in the finance bill in the senate and how it will be irrelevant...

and they bitched so much that tarp money went to the euros... <- my sarcastic commentary on how it's going to be ok to send our tax $$$ to bail out foreign banks in this way, but it was so evil that it was done through keeping aig alive to pay its obligations and other such means...

The more disciplined countries in europe (the ones that manage their economy without massive deficits) made a big mistake allowing countries into the union that mismanage their finances all the time. Now they are inextricably tied to them.

It's like co-singing a credit card app with a friend who is consistently unable to manage their finances. A bad idea.

I'll interpret for you.

He's saying that the Euros will never give up their government supplied free everything. They will continue to spend themselves into oblivion.

I agree with him, and I think the US is going to do much the same thing.
