Known issue and has been reported. The AT IT staff should be looking at it today.

Looks like not all the servers are synchronized with time, and for some reason post order per thread is based on timestamp instead of a post count (either global, or per thread) even though a global post count is maintained because that field is exposed to use through links to specific posts.

Heh, saw the 2 threads already, altho I'm sure more will appear. Brings back memories of confusion and chaos when trying to read the threads a while back.

Yes I just quoted a post and it was placed back before the post I quoted, only the time stamp was 2 minutes earlier than the post I quoted? Really?

Yep, I saw that on one thread and experienced it on two others.

I posted at 1:26 and it has it up there as 1:19 (the brits being kept out because of their tweets).

I had to check to see if it was on my end (cached copy or something), but I see this has happened before (posting at 1:28)

Oh boy. Instead of Timestamps, Post Numbers would be a better way to sort Posts...especially Quoted Posts which seem to be the ones Warping.

This is just me being a Know-it-all though. :hmm:

It is any post that happens within a few minutes of another, not just quoted ones. However, it's more apparent with quoted ones because there is obvious proof of being out of order.

I was just coming in here to report this, I saw it in a garage thread and about had a heart attack. Brings back bad memories D:
