Hi everyone, today I talk about 3 major timesinks in life and the extent to which they waste it - antisocial media, television, and gaming. While relaxing with some mindless entertainment is perfectly fine, too many people underestimate the impact it has on their overall life. When you add up a few minutes here and there, you end up with months over the course of a year. I provide specific examples and illustrate the vicious cycle it creates. Enjoy & discuss!

Your complete lack of eye contact with the camera is annoying. But on the upside, it caused me to skip through the video, so you saved me about 10 minutes. Thanks!
 
Gaming is my biggest timesink. I don't play a lot of games, but the ones I do I go crazy on. Last year it was Witcher 3, this year it's Elite Dangerous. I don't watch TV, but I bet I put 2-3+ hours a day into gaming.
 
i dont really have any timesinks right now. i spend all of my free time working on an app for a company i'm a cofounder in, hoping that it can eventually become my fulltime gig once we go live and are raking in dough.

prior to that, it was gaming, fishing, movies, and tv.
