Anyone try this yet? Noticed it was one of the games on sale at CC this week but haven't seen anyone talk about playing it yet.

Good, fun game.

It's nothing revolutionary, but does not deserve the beating it is getting from the official reviewers.

It's very linear, but I love the feel of the game, and the level design and graphics are pretty good.

Definitely worth a try. Just came out at the wrong time is all and is getting lost under the current onslaught of hyped titles such as Crysis, etc.

How long is the sp campaign? Is it 4 hours like cod4 or 40 hours like far cry ?

I too liked this game a lot. The SP campaign took me about 12-14 hours total to complete...

I don't recall seeing this feature in the demo, but you can just let the game "auto" choose how to handle time depending upon the circumstance or you can manually control time. The demo really doesn't showcase what you'll be doing in the rest of the game - there are some interesting puzzles and a few sections where you'll probably re-die over and over until you figure out how to get past an area, a few new weapons [exploding arrows were my favorite], vehicles to cruise around on, etc.

I knew this game was going to get lost in the weeds. Bad thing is that there won't be any on the FS/FT forums as no one bought the freakin' thing. Good news is it could be in the bargain bin for $ 29.99 or even $ 19.99 when they see that no one is going to buy it with GOW, COD 4, Crysis and even the FEAR's..... Same thing with Jericho. Look at that game down to $ 29.99.....

Utterly unoriginal and the graphics are poor. The demo was like playing a bastard child of HL2 and FEAR except either of those look and play better.

I went and picked it up last night and put about an hour into it. Had to update to the latest beta nvidia drivers to get it to run though.

Without the time aspect, it is a bit more of an average shooter; a little too linear with very good graphics (and needing the horses to push it), weapons are somewhat standard although graphically unique and all having a secondary fire method is a bonus. The storyline is still somewhat disjointed as you start by watching as the lab blows in the beginning, and then get warped to a city battlefield with some very cool looking large robots walking around.

Throw in the time though (except for reverse-time to a degree as that seems mostly story/script driven in use) and to me it does push the overall "grade" of the game up several notches. Walking through the ruins to hear a door busted in and a bunch of baddies suddenly light up your radar scope; hitting time slow and then running to the entry while mowing down the first couple guys, then entering the room they are coming from and taking down most of the backup, and then watching 8 of the 10 drop once time goes normally speed and the remaining guys start shouting things like "what happened, he's over there": a pretty cool event. It becomes even more fun once you've got the automatic double barreled shotgun and do this, get some nice big blood plumes that hang in the air after you shoot until time catches up and it all drops to the ground.

Haven't tried multiplayer yet and don't know if the time aspect has any effect there, although it seems that it could be odd with different players using time at different times.

I just picked it up, can't wait to play it. Even if the gameplay is linear and lacking a good story, I think the time manipulation feature alone should make this game stand out from the more generic shooters.

It's okay arcade like. I didn't fancy it too much. Graphic designing need major over hauling although it was fancy.
