Time zone in profiles

I just checked someones profile (stalking) and it shows they were last on 3/5/2007 9:02 PM.

My time zone is PST and it's currently 7:14 PM.

Because they are in a time zone that is two hours ahead of you?

I think I might be reading the question wrong.

Dunno. I just checked the profiles of several people currently online here and, regardless of the time zone they live in, their "last visited" time showed as my time, not theirs.

Ah, well, perhaps that explains why everyone shows as my time - since my time is Eastern.

how is the human race so smart that we can fly to moons yet so stupid that we cant agree on a single time? time zones, daylight savings... its all crap. all we need is GMT and be done with it. no time zones, no time changes, no confusion.
