Apparently TWC is the big cable company where I'm moving in San Antonio. I've never had them as a provider and was wondering what their service is like. Price is $80/mo for HD Cable and Roadrunner Internet. I'm currently using Verizon's DSL and don't have any major issues, just wish it was a bit faster at times. Can anyone attest to how good or bad the overall service is?

I've had good luck with Time Warner and DirecTV in the past, far more than Comcast. Comcast recently won the worst company in America award and they do truly deserve it. The only problems I've had with TWC is the fact they got all pissy about senators in NY not allowing them to do tiered internet so they refused to roll out DocSIS 3 until they were allowed. DirecTV takes a while to get to service and their boxes take forever to boot, but otherwise I've had good luck with the latter two.

No major issues with Time Warner. I switched from Dish Network last year, and so far like it better. Some of Time Warner's HD channels are not really HD in my opinion due to compression, etc... Other than that, the only problem I have with them is the cost.

avoid comcast

i have TWC out here in NY and have no issues, id assume the service is the same or better out there in a more populated area.
if VZ offers you FIOS then it would also be great
