They gave me a SB4100 and I need it replaced (I'm having to reboot it regularly).
Is there a better modem to use with Time Warner?

It's worked fine for the last year, they are bringing me a new one this afternoon. I had to replace my previous one about a year ago also.

Pick up an SB5120 at Wal-Mart for $60 and stop paying the lease fees. It's a kickass modem.

Ooh, nice. I wish Time Warner was in my area. Crappy Charter is my only option.

SB 5100 here. The 4000 series is old, I'm amazed they still use them places. We had one originally, but that was back in 2000. When it died, they gave us the 5100.

Sweet. Called earlier today, they came out this afternoon and replaced my SB4100 with a SB5101. Also replaced the filter on the street.
