Should I laugh or cry at that statement. I remember going to a friends house in '95 and we would troll the chatrooms. We would just repeat "Green Day is so grunge" and the yelling would be instant. #Good old days.

I really miss the AOL days. Around 1998-2000 my friend's brother showed me the warez chatrooms. It was like learning about some magical place you could only dream of. And the punters. Good times to be a young teen.

I never understood the punting programs. Would people feel cool when they used them? i never got the memo on why that would make someone feel good or think it was fun. Go on the internet, join a chat, kick everyone out and then silence. Great plan script kiddie!

Back then the internet gave people who would normally get their ass kicked in person some feeling of power. Now, it just gives people who are douches in real life the ability to be douches from the comfort of their own home anonymously.

I think you had to be young at the time. When you're an immature 12 year old, being able to instantly annoy strangers with the click of a button was like the best thing since sliced bread.

In all seriousness though, if a time traveler really did exist, what would they have to do to convince you that they were from the future? I think something like predict the 2 teams in the finals of the 4 major sports, as well as the winners and how many games it went to (in all but NFL), or something like that, for a full year or more.

In all seriousness though, if a time traveler really did exist, what would they have to do to convince you that they were from the future? The only problem is that after 2 predictions being proved correct, then the butterfly effect would kick in. Teams would change their strategies thinking they would improve, and others would try and play the same strategies and win, all while screwing up the timeline. Then everyone would think the time traveler wasn't really a time traveler and just made two lucky guesses.

We used to troll chat rooms by entering as many chat room as we could and spam "BILLY AND STU ARE THE KILLER IN SCREAM!!!" the days after it came out and just paste the chat rooms full of it.

Damn that is such a dick move to do looking back on it. I'd be pissed if I hadn't seen it and got something like that spoiled.
