Time Travel?

Is it a possible thing or just a great fantasy? Can this ever really happen?

I mean, I'm not sure if the technology is available now (I would think someone would know about it if it was), but in the future is there a chance that we will be able to go back in time?

To the future yes, past no.

Yes it's called whiskey drink enough of it and you'll be magically shot into the future. There is some disorientation involved and sometimes you'll actually travel not just along the time line but geographically as well. For reasons unknown when coming out of the time warp you can sometimes end up in the bed of an ugly girl. But those are the risks that brave time travelers must face.

😀

So much for this thread. These responses are quite comedic. I thought I would get at least one serious one, but guess not, lol. I actually did search for it, but I guess I suck at that too. Thanks for the links YOyoYOhowsDAjello!

Serious response: time travel to the past is as possible as faster than light space travel, and the 2 would probably happen together. Space and time are closely related, and there seems to be an inverse relationship between the speed one travels through space and the speed one travels through time. Theoretically, one may travel backwards through time if one traveled through space faster than light. Good luck with that!

nothing carbon fiber can't fix

It will never happen.. at least not the way movies make it look. We may be able to view the past by traveling faster than light and looking backwards at it as we pass, but we can't interact with it.
