If time travel were a reality, what point in time would you like to visit. Id choose the Medieval times in Europe. That part in human history always fascinated me.

Go back too far and you might not survive too long. Things were rough back then. ;)

I'd probably go back to the late 60s or early 70s, when all of the cool computer stuff was being created.

I would love to bring someone from ~1900 to our time. The look on their faces when I show them some of the things we have now would be priceless, imho...

I go back to the year we had all those hurricane swells on the east coast and do it all over again.

I would either go back to WWII as a combat photographer or Ancient Rome and see a chariot race at the Collisseum!

I would go back to the dawn of mankind. As the most intelligent being on the planet I would proceed to manipulate the course of history to......

OMG that tiger is trying to EAT me!!1 ARGhgrjhhsdfjf......

OK, maybe I'd go to the 1800's or so.

Ah yes, a period full of war and diseases. Where 'sanitation' wasn't a word, and even the royal families would just defecate in a corner of the room. The average person lived a life full of suffering that involved paying extreme taxes to their local lords, constant stomach pains from drinking water that ale became a substitute for it, where there weren't any proper medical care and even a toothache would cause acute pain for weeks at a time.

No thanks, i never really understood why people are always so fascinated about reliving the past.

Even someone from 20 years ago would be amazed.

I'd go forward 50 years at a time until I ended up in some kind of utopian Star Trek-ish kind of society.

If you're going to do that, Microsoft would be a much better investment.

Okay... let me revise:

I'd invest as much money as I could in the top gaining stock between 1992 and 1999.

Yeah actually, I'd love to go into the future and see how crazy the world gets. You might be able to predict what the world will be like in 20 or 50 years, but in 500? 5000?

edit: or a million or billion years in the future. There IS that much future, and much more! I wonder what will be around...

I wouldnt mind going to check out the grassy knoll about ten minutes before Kennedy's motorcade was due and see just what the hell was going on back there.

It would be very dangerous...

Imagine going back to very early AM on 7 DEC 1941 and warning the Pacific Fleet!

Unlike BTTF, you wouldn't fade away if you did something that caused your parents never to meet. Instead when you returned to the present your family may not exist.

Look up the lottery database and found the largest jackpot that wasn't won so go back a day before and buy a winning ticket. The person that actually did win (the following drawing) wouldn't. So much disruption, probably no real harm done in those scenarios. (other than having a lot of money which after all isn't such a bad thing!)

Getting stuck back in the late 18th century would suck especially once your batts die and there is no way to charge them. Bring along that EDC photovoltaic charger!

Colonial civilians would think you were evil if you wielded something as simple as a keychain laser pointer...

Going forward into the future...hmm there is no program data for that, is that even possible? ;)

Cheers!

I'd go back two years to that 200 million dollar lotto. :D

(edit: maybe ALL lotto winners are really time travelers... hmm...)
