Time to upgrade? Audi A4, Acura TSX, Lexus IS250, or others?

After realizing tonight that I owe less on the loan than my trade-in value, why not celebrate the end of my warranty with a new automobile :)

Any opinions on those cars listed above?

OH snap. I'd like to drive one as a daily driver. Hm... How about the IS250?

In terms of value, fun to drive, performance, fuel economy, looks, features, resale value and reliability, the Acura TSX comes on top.

To be honest, i like the interior of the TSX the best, but the exterior of the A4. :)

is250 is too, too sexy. but i heard its boring too drive. tsx seems to have everything going for it, but of course id make no decisions unless i actually drove them back to back. hell, as far as speculation goes, g35 would be bestest... 300+ hp , rwd , and vastly improved interior

You guys like the Coupe or the Sedan? I kinda prefer the interior of the sedan.

Screw the Audi, just because of the reliability. I've never driven the IS250, but it sure does look nice. My gf has a 04 TSX auto and I love it.

the accord V6 MT is faster, cheaper, and significantly more luxurious. yes, i've driven both. actually, out of the list in the OP, the accord V6 MT is faster, cheaper, and roughly equal in luxury to all of those cars. you can get one for $25K pretty easily.

More luxurious? Probably. It isn't faster though. A turbocharged AWD 250 HP legacy is going to beat a 244 hp FWD accord.

Personally Id go for the TSX out of those choices, but my car is paid off and reliable (so far) and I like not having a car payment.

all the cars in the title have no balls, but if you don't mind that.

the IS250 costs alot, i recommended it to my cousin to look it not realizing how much it was and he paid something like 38K OTD w/ navi. Too freaking much. It's mainly because if you buy an automatic, they make you buy an option package of some sort also.

IMO, the TSX doesn't have as fine interior build quality, but it costs a lot less.

I personally wouldn't want anything to do with an audi/vw, but that's me.

the G35 is supposed to be very good for the money, only a little more than a TSX. It has some insane ass mp3 stereo with build in CF slot and harddrive. I haven't looked in detail but also the feature list is supposed to be top notch. The powertrain is supposed to be very good, edmunds ran one high 13s in the quarter even in automatic. As fast as an is350 but for less than an is250. The downsides are that gas mileage kind of blows, and there is a bit of cost cutting evident still. Try tapping the big bling grille on the G35 to see what i mean.

WHen you guys refer to the G35, is that specific to the coupe or the sedan or both?

D. All of the above ;)

I drive a Mazda3 right now and while its been a GREAT car and i love it, i was something a bit more upscale.

Keep in mind i LOVE gadgets, navi, bluetooth, whatever i can get my chubby little fingers on ;)

it's probably close to a wash if you can get the fwd accord to hook up. Honda added power in '06, and subaru lost power on paper due to revised SAE ratings. It's 244 hp for the accord vs 243 for the subaru now using the same ratings. The accord also has a 200 lb weight advantage actually.

07 G35 can be had for 38k fully loaded.

0-60 in 5.2, navigation, voice command, backup camera, push start/ intelligent key, intelligent cruise control w/laser, 10 inch speakers in the doors, CF card for MP3s.

I have been looking at the G35 along with 335s, TLs, A4s, and IS350s, it's pretty hard to beat Infiniti's newest offering in terms of value/performance/gadgetry. The IS350s come close, but its a good 3-4k more.

why the TSX and not the TL? In the class that you seem to be looking at the TL would be the better choice.
