Also for Distributed Folding:

The client is available on most OS's and can be installed as a service on Windows NT/2000/XP. The client has just been improved to run twice as fast AND produce better results at the same time. If you've got a machine with 256MB RAM or more, you can set up the client to run at double the speed!

The group behind the project does an excellent job on support and always listens to new ideas.

The Rothberg Institute For Childhood Diseases is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for children suffering from Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). We operate at the intersection of modern biology, computer science, and chemistry.

The work we do on TSC will also have a direct impact on cancer research, and we will be testing the drugs we find as weapons against cancer. In addition the work we do to create a system to attack orphan diseases will form a prototype for work on other orphan diseases.

TSC is a genetic disorder that leads to benign tumors in multiple organs, including the brain, kidneys, heart, eyes, lungs and other organs. During the first few years, the severity of TSC can range from mild skin abnormalities to, in severe cases, seizures, mental retardation or renal failure. For more information about TSC please visit www.tsalliance.org

FWIW, Folding@Home uses about 60MB of RAM, though it may use a little more or a little less, depending on the complexity of the current protein. If we could all agree on a format for these things, perhaps each project could state something like this:
Memory usage: ~60MB

hmm seems to me that the DF one needs a bit of working on.

Instead of the "If you've got a machine with 256MB RAM or more, you can set up the client to run at double the speed!" how bout "All machines benefit from the new client, though if you've got a machine with 256MB RAM or more, you can set up the client tu run at double the speed again!" ?

Thanks Crazee! :)

Couple of problems I've noticed:

The Find-a-Drug team stats don't go to the team stats. Just need to add /2039.html to the link.

The D2OL description mentions that the team is in 17th place.

I have another thread going asking for a write up for them. I didn't want the title of this thread to get too large.

Correction made to D2OL. I put the link to the team stats page in Find A Drug to the page that lists the teams and their rankings (that was originally where I was trying to link to, but I must have copied it wrong). I could add another link that would go to the TeAm stats page if you want.

Thanks for all your hard work in this area, Crazee. Hopefully the other projects that need to do so will update their sections, so we can get this thing posted. :)
