No wonder, I have an ATI 8500 AIW with an XP 1800 and 512Mb 2100 RAM, but the game is still choppy even at the lowest settings :| I am running it at 800*something with all the graphical settings on the middle or off and it is still choppy when I am trying to do certain things :disgust:

Any tips for me on getting started? I have played about 5 hours and tried a bunch of different cities but I can't seem to make one work. I run out of money to fast and if I raise taxes everyone moves. Taking out loans hasn't seemed to work also.

runs fine on my GF's 1.2 gig duron and original Radeon 32 megger... runing 1024x768 res also.. it lags some but its not like its a FPS...

Max has an autosave feature, and is one of the best turn based / real time strategy games I have ever played.

Hands down, get this game.

Max 2 blows though.

I remember the days of my 486... that damn thing crashed so often on every game that I saved about every 2 minutes.

It became a hard habit to break actually, even after I got a stable rig
